This past week AOP Technologies sales team went through an awesome distributor sales training program through Festo's Fit for Change. Not only did
we grow as a group on a professional level, we gained so much knowledge to
benefit our vendors as well as our customers.
What we got out of this experience was some invaluable
information that we as a whole team can use to train our sales force to be
Consultative Sales Professionals. We are not looking for a hard sale, to push
our vendor’s products, or to get our customers to purchase the product that
will give us the greatest margin. We are here to break the barriers of
listening to effectively hear your needs and consult with you to determine the
best products to provide to you, for your projects specific needs.
What I took away from this the most was, that our customers
are our life line. We are here to serve them, consult with them, build lasting
relationships, and really listen to what your needs are. We would like to thank the Festo team for
taking the time to open our eyes and help us become better Sales professionals.
